Job Title: Senior.NET Developer

This role involves working with a team of 10 people in the News/digital media space. The ideal candidate is a forward thinker with strong experience in.NET framework &.NET Core.

The successful candidate will be responsible for production issues, working on individual & team efforts, and will help in the design/development/testing/modifying of existing web applications.

This team works in a fast-paced kanban environment. Someone who can pivot, and jump in where needed will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Re-engineer older applications with newer technologies
  • API integrations with applications
  • Production issues
  • Design/development/testing/modifying of existing web applications

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years experience developing web applications and enterprise applications
  • Bachelor's degree level of education
  • .NET Framework 4.0 and above
  • .NET Core
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming concepts/ Object oriented analysis and design principles
  • Javascript & jQuery
  • Experience with SQL & T-SQL
  • Web Services / WCF / REST
  • HTML5 / HTML / CSS3
  • Secure coding best practices
  • Experience with Full SDLC
  • Demonstrable strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Excellent communications skills, Self-motivated, independent, detailed-oriented team player
