Job Summary

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled COMSEC Manager to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As a COMSEC Manager, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for the operations and maintenance of a large-scale RF Communications system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide COMSEC and hardware engineering support for a complex hardware-software communications system in a real-time environment.
  • Perform daily COMSEC duties, including discrepancy report work-off and resolution, O&M training/mentoring, trending, procedure development, data collection, fault isolation, and performing real-time manual actions to restore system capabilities.
  • Assist in the development of troubleshooting/recovery plans and execution of associated management and customer briefs.
  • Participate in corrective maintenance, including remove/replace, repair, and testing failed hardware.
  • Work closely with delivering, installation efforts, and special test configurations.
  • Perform maintenance activities, including climbing multiple sets of stairs, lifting/carrying up to 50lbs, and working in non-environment-controlled workspaces.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience handling and managing COMSEC material.
  • Experience providing Ground Engineering O&M support.
  • Knowledge of IT Networking, including LAN, WAN, CISCO, Juniper, etc.
  • IAT Level I or higher certification: CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, etc.
  • Technical experience with SATCOM Ground Terminals, including parabolic antennas, receive/transmit equipment, control and status networks, IF and baseband signal processing.
  • Experience with Windows and UNIX-based operating systems and applications.
  • Prior electronics and/or satellite communications training or experience.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
