We are currently seeking a Production Equipment Operator. While prior experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Regularly inspect print and seam quality.
  • Remove defective materials and splice the roll web back together according to specifications.
  • Utilize tools such as rulers, safety knives, and hole punches during the splicing process (these tools may be used at other times as needed).
  • Handle rolls and palletize them carefully to prevent damage.
  • Understand basic printing and seam-related defects.
  • Record and input data on designated paperwork and within the company’s operational system.
  • Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations for label counts and conversions, including using units of American currency and measurements.
  • Familiarity with simple Windows-based applications.
  • This role requires physical activity, including standing, using hands for manipulation, reaching, talking, and hearing. Frequent walking is necessary, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. The ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds is essential.
  • Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
