We are seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing. As a travel Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Provide direct patient care, including exercises, activities, and education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Current state license as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Minimum of one year of professional experience as a COTA
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Passing score on the NBCOT exam as a COTA
