Responsibilities

  • Presents a neat, clean appearance, in company uniform and maintains a clean and safe environment for customers.
  • Greets each customer they encounter with a smile and a word of welcome or departure, providing excellent customer service.
  • Serves customers according to all company procedures and standards, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Cooperates with peers, working as part of a team to achieve common goals, helps others when they need a hand, and demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude with co-workers.
  • Trains new employees through orientation and demonstrates patience and understanding when training others.
  • Keeps other employees informed about what they are doing and understands posted work schedules, reporting to work as scheduled, on time, in uniform and ready to begin tasks.
  • Provides appropriate notice when unable to be at work and understands and uses approved time keeping system.
  • Cooperates with management, being open and receptive to requests, demonstrating flexibility and dependability, and adjusting positively to requests for change from managers.
  • Alerts management to station needs and anticipates problems, bringing them to management's attention.
  • Follows through with all commitments made and takes action without being told, going beyond what is simply required, maintaining a high activity level.
  • Helps others when needed without being asked, demonstrates a sense of urgency on the job, especially when it relates to pleasing the customer, and is effective working on more than one task at a time.
