Key Responsibilities
  • Mixing and Preparation: Assist in mixing cement and other materials, using hoes or concrete mixing machines, as needed.
  • Material Handling: Load, transport, unload, and furnish experienced craft workers with materials, tools, equipment, and supplies.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
  • Scaffolding and Rigging: Rig mobile and stationary scaffolding on structures in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Assistance and Support: Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing materials and workpieces during installation.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform minor maintenance or cleaning activities of journeyman's tools and equipment.
  • Specialized Tasks: Remove rough or defective spots from concrete using grinders, hammers, and/or chisels, and patch holes as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Possess skills required to perform concrete and/or masonry restoration tasks, including concrete patching, tuckpointing, brick replacement, and caulking.
  • Personal Requirements: Possess reliable transportation and be able to work weekends, nights, out of town, and at heights.
