Landscape Architect Project Manager Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should be able to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of landscape architects, planners, and others. The ideal candidate will have experience working on public and private landscape architectural projects, with a focus on park, recreation, and trail planning and design, urban park, plaza, streetscape, and transportation enhancements, land development, and large-scale planning projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide management on a wide variety of public and private landscape architectural projects.
  • Collaborate with landscape architects, planners, and other team members to deliver projects efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Maintain expertise in industry-leading software, including AutoCAD, Microstation, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and GIS.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Texas registration as a Professional Landscape Architect.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in landscape architecture, with at least 2 years in a project management role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel periodically primarily in-state to support project needs.
