- Parent Communication and Support: Communicate with parents through various channels, providing support and updates on student progress.
- Professional Development and Events: Attend school events, including Back-to-School Night, Open House, Baccalaureate Mass and Graduation, Faculty/Staff Retreats, and Staff Development Days.
- Education: Bachelor's degree
- Special Education Background: Coursework in special education or applicable experience
- Experience: One year of relevant experience preferred
- Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with faculty, parents, and staff
- Boundary Setting and Confidentiality: Ability to set clear boundaries with students while maintaining a positive relationship that fosters their development and independence
- Organizational and Technical Skills: Excellent organizational skills, proficiency in Google Workspace, and the ability to learn and use new technologies, particularly assistive technologies
- Discretion and Judgment: Ability to handle confidential information discreetly and professionally, using discretion and exercising sound judgment
