Culinary Team Member Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our culinary team at Commander, Navy Installations Command. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of menu items, including regular and special entrees and dessert items.

Key Responsibilities:

• Works alone or with a higher-grade cook to roast, broil, bake, fry, boil, steam, and stew meats, fish, and poultry
• Prepares soups, stocks, broths, gravies, sauces, and puddings without using packaged mixes
• Makes various dessert items such as baked Alaska, crepes, and mousses
• Maintains rotation of food inventories to prevent spoilage

Education and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
• Food preparation and service experience preferred

Salary Information:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 based on location and experience.
