Job Summary

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team in Brownsville, New York. As a Labor and Delivery nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Labor and Delivery patients, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed practical nurses, registered nurses, and other healthcare staff as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nursing standards and policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in New York State.
  • 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a focus on patient care and teamwork.
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the unit.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
