The Los Rios Community College District seeks a qualified registered nurse to join its adjunct faculty team. As an adjunct faculty member, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of the area dean and helping students fulfill their maximum potential. You will assess student learning outcomes, maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge in your regular field, and continue professional development.
You will utilize current technology in the performance of job duties, maintain standards of professional conduct and ethics appropriate to the professional position, assist with articulation and curriculum development and review, serve on college committees and participate in faculty governance, including accreditation and student co-curricular activities.
You will also assume other responsibilities as assigned by the area dean and fulfill other duties and responsibilities of an adjunct faculty member. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in nursing and a California Public Health Nurse certificate, or a Bachelor's degree in nursing, a California Public Health Nurse certificate, and a Master's degree in health education, sociology, psychology, counseling, healthcare administration, public health, or community health.
