We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nurse Assistant to join our team at Village on the Park Oklahoma City. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Residents with Daily Living: Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, in a respectful and dignified manner.
  • Meal Service: Serve meals to residents in the dining room or apartments, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident care, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Environmental Maintenance: Ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment for residents, promoting a sense of well-being.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nurse Assistant Certification: Possess active certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant.
  • CPR Training: Hold current CPR certification.
  • Experience: 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors.
  • HIPAA Knowledge: Understand and comply with HIPAA requirements and regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with residents and colleagues.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
  • Background Check: Willingness to undergo a routine background check, including a drug screen.
