We are seeking a highly skilled Studio Operator to join our Technical Operations team at Warner Bros. Discovery. As a Studio Operator, you will be responsible for operating robotic cameras and lighting, establishing and designating IFBs and Comms, and working with studio crews to ensure seamless production.
Key Responsibilities- Operate robotic cameras and lighting systems to capture high-quality video and audio
- Establish and designate IFBs and Comms to ensure clear communication between crew members
- Work with studio crews to set up and operate pedestal cameras, hand-held cameras, jib and Steadicam, Audio Assist, and Utility equipment
- Control Viz Multiplay Videowall to create effects, route feeds, and control playback of servers feeding video walls
- Responsible for maintaining acceptable video levels for incoming, outgoing, and internal signals, and initial daily set-up and shading of studio cameras
- Collaborate with crew members, directors, technical directors, audio designers, talent, and producers to ensure a smooth production process
- 3 years' experience in a facility engaged in multiple camera production
- Experience with using camera robotic systems and studio cameras preferred
- Ability to succeed under pressure, exhibit great attention to detail, and be a team player
- Ability to prioritize and service multiple requests, demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, remain calm under pressure, and show a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
- Availability to work weekends
