As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our hospital, providing exceptional patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Oversee the entire hospital operation during the absence of administration, ensuring seamless continuity of care.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of patient care, adhering to our treatment plans and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) to conduct department meetings, promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Utilize your expertise in nursing assessments, treatment planning, and discharge procedures to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, satisfaction, and overall hospital performance.

**Requirements:**

  • Must be 21 years of age and a graduate of an accredited program of professional nursing training.
  • Current, unencumbered license to practice nursing in the state of North Carolina.
  • CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, as needed.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Previous experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric, and geriatric patients.
  • Proven track record of patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning, and communication with external review organizations.
