Responsibilities:

· Overview

· A Finished Goods Specialist (FGS) is accountable for the handling, storage, and distribution of finished products post-manufacturing. Collaborating with warehouse personnel, they ensure that trucks are loaded and unloaded correctly, and that all scheduled outbound deliveries are executed punctually. FGSs organize and manage inventories within the warehouse while maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and delegate work assignments to warehouse staff.
  • Maintain accurate physical inventories of products and ensure alignment with S4/Hana and Warehouse Monitor.
  • Create packing slips (inventory for a shipment) and bills of lading (detailed shipment lists).
  • Verify that trucks are loaded and unloaded accurately with the necessary documentation.
  • Ensure all scheduled outbound deliveries are executed on time and with precision.
  • Oversee post-good issues to ensure they are processed promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate with internal sales teams regarding any delays in outbound deliveries and determine corrective actions (expedites, truck setups/schedules).
  • Ensure shipments are prepared for delivery.
  • Foster strong relationships with warehouse and operations teams.
