Position Overview:
The Senior Quantitative Analyst is responsible for conducting quantitative analysis and developing sophisticated quantitative models to fulfill business needs.

This role involves providing specialized quantitative analytical and modeling support within the designated business lines and creating advanced models to facilitate product pricing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering specialized analytical and modeling support for optimal pricing and risk management.
  • Offering financial, analytical, and modeling expertise to construct quantitative models for various business initiatives.
  • Executing complex quantitative analyses relevant to specific transactions and products.
  • Conducting tests on statistical model assumptions to ensure the integrity of model theory.
  • Engaging in hands-on coding and development of quantitative models.
  • Reviewing model outcomes and identifying any anomalies.
  • Creating specialized analytical tools for projects or ongoing applications.
  • Formulating conclusions and action plans to address discrepancies.
  • Developing and analyzing key metrics and variance reports.
  • Generating ad-hoc analytical reports as needed.
  • Leading research initiatives, leveraging expertise in statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Exploring best practices in modeling techniques for enhancements.

This position requires a seasoned professional with substantial knowledge and expertise in a complex field, along with an understanding of broader related areas. The analyst will integrate knowledge of the overarching strategy of the enterprise's sub-functions or business lines to develop solutions across multiple operations.

Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree required; advanced technical degree preferred (e.g., mathematics, physics, engineering, finance, or computer science).
3+ years of relevant experience with in-depth knowledge of quantitative models and statistical analysis.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal and consultative abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, SAS, and SQL is essential.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and develop effective plans to address identified issues.
