Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at Trident Medical Center. As an EP Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and other heart conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time to supply care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members.
  • Monitor patients during EP procedures, and perform sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technician preferred.
  • A current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification is required.
  • A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required.
  • Required License: RT or CVT required, RCIS preferred.
  • Registered Radiologic Technician (does not have to be RRT if CVT at time of hire).
  • Previous cardiac catheterization and EP experience strongly preferred.
