Job Title: Excavator Operator

At CRH, we are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy equipment for groundwork and construction purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
  • Travel with the crew to various construction sites throughout Central Texas.
  • Ability to operate excavators and rock breakers of various sizes, including those over 323.
  • Perform daily pre-and-post inspections and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in training less-experienced employees on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Follow direction from the Foreman and adhere to project schedules.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation or a related field.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations.
