About the Role

As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school. Our drivers are the face of our company, and we take pride in providing a professional and courteous service to our passengers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a school bus safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition
  • Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing support and guidance as needed
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
  • At least 21 years old
  • Good verbal communication skills
