Job Summary

As a Medical Assistant at Dermatology Associates, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical team. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with patient examinations and treatments, including taking patient histories and maintaining accurate records.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, collect specimens, and perform various administrative tasks.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to our clinical team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and test results.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing lab forms, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting certification or degree preferred.
  • One year of medical assisting experience or equivalent required; experience in a dermatology setting a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
