Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with diverse groups and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or Molecular Biology, or related science from a four-year college or university.
  • Experience with food and plant microbiological analyses and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of other relevant technologies and markets.
  • Familiarity with the laboratory business environment.
Working Conditions

The Laboratory Technician will work in a laboratory setting, using analytical equipment and handling hazardous chemicals and solvents. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Language Skills

The Laboratory Technician must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write Standard Operating Procedures, analytical methods, reports, business correspondences, and additional laboratory documentation.
