At Mercy, we're seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Breast Imaging department.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Mammography Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of delivering compassionate care.

About the Role:

  • This is a flexible floating position serving patients in multiple locations.
  • Shifts are typically day shifts, Monday through Friday, with PRN opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform professional mammography services, including routine screening and diagnostic exams.
  2. Provide education and support to patients on breast health and imaging procedures.
  3. Collaborate with the Mammography Supervisor and Senior Mammographer to ensure seamless operations in the Breast Imaging department.

Requirements:

  • A graduate of an accredited Radiology program is required. We welcome candidates who have completed 40 hours of mammography training or are willing to undergo additional training.
  • ARRT registry within 6 months of hire is mandatory, along with Mammography registry taken at one year after training completion if not certified.
  • TWO years of experience in Radiology and Mammography is preferred but will train the right candidate.
  • Computer literacy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
