Job Description

This role involves working as a School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) within a school environment. You will provide invaluable support to Occupational Therapists and deliver essential services to students with diverse needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in conducting assessments and evaluations to identify students' functional abilities and needs.">
  • Support in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans and goals.">
  • Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.">
  • Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to enhance students' progress and functional skills.">
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold an Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistance or related field.">
  • Possess current state certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or eligibility for certification.">
