Job Opportunity:

Mount Wachusett Community College is seeking qualified and experienced professionals to join its adjunct faculty pool. As an adjunct faculty member, you will have the opportunity to teach and mentor students in a dynamic and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in a variety of disciplines, including academic areas.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assessments, and evaluations to promote student learning and success.
• Provide academic advising and support to students, including guidance on course selection and career goals.
• Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and academic programs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Stay current with developments in your field and incorporate relevant technologies and pedagogies into your teaching practices.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in the relevant field or discipline.
• Evidence of teaching experience and expertise in the relevant field or discipline.
• Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
• Familiarity with educational technologies and online learning platforms.
• Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and college community.
