Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator Lead to join our team at Builders FirstSource. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our interior door production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Select and set proper machine control settings and parts to ensure accurate and efficient production.
  • Select and prepare materials for machining, including beams, headers, studs, fire blocking, and lumber.
  • Start the machine and place woodstock on the table against proper guides and push stock against the saw or machine for cutting.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
Requirements
