Job Summary

Bates College seeks a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our athletic department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and support to our student-athletes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat athletic injuries, including concussion assessments and rehabilitation plans.
  • Develop and implement injury prevention strategies, including education and training programs.
  • Collaborate with our team physician and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care for our student-athletes.
  • Provide daily injury reports and updates to our coaching staff and athletic administration.
  • Assist with the coordination of medical care and referrals for student-athletes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer (BOC) Certification.
  • Maine licensure or ability to obtain within 90 days.
  • CPR and AED Certification.
  • 2+ years of athletic training experience at the collegiate level.
