Job Opportunity at Healthwaze: Mental Health Specialist for Inpatient Care.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Healthwaze. As an Inpatient Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in need of intensive support.

About the Role
The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation. You will be required to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide direct patient care to individuals requiring inpatient mental health services
* Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
* Implement treatment plans, which may include medication management, therapy, and education
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between services
* Participate in interprofessional teams to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements
* Master's or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, social work, nursing)
* Licensure or certification to practice in Alaska (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, APRN)
* 2+ years of experience working in mental health, preferably in an inpatient setting
* Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatments and best practices in mental health care
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations and teams

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range based on experience: $ 120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and background.
