Job Summary

Healthcare Staffing Plus is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for capturing diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.

Responsibilities

Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes.
Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the patient's safety.
Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions.
Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.

Requirements

Proven experience working as a CT technologist.
Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
The ability to stand for extended periods.
Strong technical skills.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Associates Degree in Radiology.
Two years of Computed Tomography Technology experience.
Active unencumbered CT Tech Florida license.
