Position Summary:
Aligned Modern Health is on the lookout for Sports Rehabilitation Therapists who excel in the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries, ensuring our patients receive the utmost level of care and service.
If you possess experience or interest in roles such as Certified Athletic Trainer, Athletic Trainer, Rehabilitation Specialist, Rehab Technician, Rehabilitative Exercise Specialist, Kinesiologist, Chiropractic Assistant, Physical Therapy Aide, Physical Therapy Technician, or Personal Trainer, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding care to patients, promoting engagement, encouragement, and motivation.
- Under the supervision of a Chiropractic Physician, assess patients and develop/implement a care plan tailored to physician preferences, patient functionality, diagnosis, treatment, self-management, and healthcare resource access.
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations and care plans.
- Provide physical care to patients in accordance with medical directives, monitoring patient responses and outcomes throughout treatment.
- Educate patients and/or family members on treatment, activities, and home care in line with physician preferences.
- Offer preventative education and counseling to patients, families, and groups regarding health maintenance, normal body function, injury prevention, and strength conditioning.
- Stay informed and comply with all applicable state and federal regulations, including HIPAA, ADA, OSHA, and FLSA.
- Ensure a well-organized and clean rehabilitation/training environment.
- Assist the Clinic Manager with front desk duties, clinic tours, and events as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a CAATE accredited institution.
- NATA BOC Certification and IL state licensure preferred but not mandatory.
- Completion of McKenzie (MDT) coursework preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience in sports medicine, athletic training, or a therapeutic setting preferred.
- Ability to foster a welcoming environment for all individuals.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong sense of empathy.
- A genuine passion for connecting with people and assisting them in achieving their goals.
- A professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies are essential.
- A commitment to health and wellness and a desire to drive positive change in healthcare.
