About the Role:

HCA Enterprise is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to serve as the Division Medical Director for our Capital and North Carolina Divisions. This is a senior-level, executive position that will provide leadership for division initiatives within HCA Enterprise's Capital and NC divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Anesthesiology service line in the Capital and NC divisions.
  • Develop and implement divisional initiatives to improve patient care, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership and medical staff to ensure alignment with HCA Enterprise's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of divisional policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Provide guidance and support to Anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals in the division.
  • Participate in divisional and enterprise-wide committees and working groups.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology.
  • Licensed or licensable in NC and VA.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Healthcare, preferably in Hospital-Based physician services and/or healthcare consulting.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience and a working knowledge of healthcare systems management and financial oversight for clinical operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% when needed.
