Job Summary

As a Culinary Supervisor with Compass Group Careers, you will be responsible for directly supervising food-service associates in accordance with policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop food-service associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient food production and service.
  • Appraise performance, provide feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Advises management on purchasing requirements to minimize waste and avoid product shortages.
  • Ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control by using approved food recipes and production standards.
  • Operate and clean equipment in accordance with department procedures after each use.
  • Store, label, and date food items according to policy to minimize spoilage and waste.
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
  • Operate food-service equipment in a safe manner and according to established policies and procedures.
  • Help serve meals and remain present during scheduled meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback.
