About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. As a key member of our commercial law practice, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-stakes cases, providing legal advice to a diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations related to commercial disputes.
  • Draft and review various legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other transactional documents.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to advise clients on their legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations.
  • Develop case strategies based on the law and evidence, and argue cases persuasively.
  • Negotiate settlements in the best interest of the client, ensuring compliance with all legal regulations.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys on complex litigation cases, contributing to case strategies and client communication.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes and legal precedents that could affect our clients' cases.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and senior attorneys about case progress and legal advice.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state and in good standing with the state bar.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation and transactional law, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Proven track record of managing a full caseload, from case inception through resolution.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with a strong ability to draft and review legal documents.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  • High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with clients, colleagues, and the court.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and proactive approach to legal issues.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
