The Registered Nurse RN ICCU is a critical care specialist responsible for providing direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients. This role requires intimate knowledge of department and hospital policies and procedures relevant to the delivery of nursing care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of assigned personnel
- Interpret and communicate complex medical information to patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Manage and prioritize patient care assignments to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
