- Motivating the team to reach production goals and helping loan originators structure loans to best suit the needs of our borrowers/clients.
- Effectively marketing Wintrust Mortgage in the local community and ensuring the branch follows all compliance and regulatory guidelines.
- Training new hires to follow all processes and procedures of Wintrust Mortgage and managing to corporate directives.
- Generating referral business, leads, and relationships with individuals, existing clients, past clients, and Real Estate professionals.
- Participating in training for marketing, sales, and scenario techniques to effectively sell, package, and close consumer mortgages.
- Providing thorough and complete loan applications, analyzing and prequalifying applicant information, and determining the viability of the client's desired loan program.
- Pulling and analyzing credit and comparing it for accuracy with the borrower's statements.
- Providing guidance and information relevant to the risks and benefits of each program the applicant is qualified for.
- Effectively communicating the terms of each product and ensuring all documents necessary are signed by the borrower.
- Providing the loan package to the loan processor for review and working with the loan processor to provide any additional documentation as necessary and required by underwriting to clear conditions and close the loan.
- Recruiting of Loan Officers and management of personal and team loan pipelines.
- High School or equivalent degree.
- Must meet all NMLS requirements.
- Must have superior interpersonal, organizational, communication, and telephone etiquette skills.
- Must be a self-starter, motivated, energetic, with excellent time-management skills.
- Minimum of 5 years mortgage banking experience.
- Minimum of 2 years experience with successful recruiting.
