Travel Cath Lab Technologist: Cardiovascular Intervention Specialist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Clackamas, Oregon. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care.
Job OverviewAs a Travel Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to catheterization laboratory procedures, including preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and providing excellent patient outcomes.
This assignment offers a competitive pay package, with an estimated salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a tax-free stipend, you will also receive comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
Responsibilities- Perform catheterization laboratory procedures, including angiography, coronary intervention, and vascular access management
- Prepare patients for procedures, including obtaining medical histories, conducting physical assessments, and administering medications as ordered
- Operate imaging equipment, such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines, to visualize internal structures during procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans and ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including medical histories, test results, and procedure notes
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as radiologic technology or cardiovascular technology
- 1-3 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, preferably in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull heavy equipment, and stand for long periods
- CPR certification and basic life support training
