About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Care Assistant to join our team at Duke Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
  • Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families.
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as administering medications and performing wound care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements
  • Current Nurse Aide I Registry listing with the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation.
  • Graduation from high school or GED; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification from American Heart Association.
