Key Responsibilities

As an Architectural Project Leader, you will:

  • Guide a multidisciplinary team in the design and execution of architectural projects.
  • Oversee the coordination of project phases, ensuring seamless collaboration among team members.
  • Facilitate meetings with clients and internal stakeholders, and engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct site work sessions alongside project managers and other specialists.
  • Manage the distribution of tasks among team members to meet project deadlines.
  • Review architectural plans for interdisciplinary conflicts.
  • Perform quality assurance and technical evaluations.
  • Draft and refine architectural specifications.
  • Assist in managing project modifications, including addenda and change orders.
  • Incorporate client feedback into project documentation.
  • Lead projects in a dual management capacity when necessary.
  • Provide oversight for construction contracts as required.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Registered Architect credentials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project Schedule).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related design tools.
  • Demonstrated skills in graphic presentation.
  • Experience in preparing and organizing architectural contract documents and specifications.
  • A solid understanding of building codes and effective planning skills.
  • A commitment to actively participating in our collaborative culture.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:

  • A Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Experience in sectors such as healthcare, education, civic projects, and research facilities.
  • An interest in sustainable design practices, including LEED certification.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, Rhino, and Grasshopper.
