Position Overview

The individual in this role will manage the Annuity Operations division, which includes Customer Service Centers, New Business Initiatives, Ongoing Processing, and Claims Management. This leader will be tasked with efficiently structuring teams within a rapidly expanding organization. Identifying and nurturing future leaders will be a critical responsibility. Ensuring that the customer experience stands out from competitors will be paramount, creating a strategic advantage while adhering to budgetary constraints. This role will require prioritizing and advocating for projects that align with this vision. Success in this position will depend on the ability to engage with a diverse array of stakeholders, including IT, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Distribution, and Product teams, to ensure seamless operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish success metrics and meaningful KPIs for annuity operations and related teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing insurance products.
  • Work closely with the distribution team to set clear expectations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree.
  • Over 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of cultivating future leaders.
  • Ability to perform cost-benefit analyses on complex initiatives.
  • Experience managing customer service centers and processing teams.
  • Strong communication skills with a diverse range of stakeholders across various business functions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of a wide array of insurance products and services.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to annuities.
  • Familiarity with different distribution channels and their market expectations.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
