Surgical Technologist

Soliant is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join the Cardiac Thoracic Transplant team in Madison, Wisconsin.
This is a full-time position with day/evening shifts, and on-call rotation for weekends and holidays may be required.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare operating rooms for cardiac and thoracic transplant surgeries, ensuring all instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for use.
- Assist surgeons during transplant procedures, maintaining a sterile field and providing necessary instruments.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth, efficient, and successful operations.
- Adhere to all OR protocols and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
- Track and maintain surgical instruments and supplies before, during, and after surgeries.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in OR, specifically with cardiac and thoracic surgeries.
- BLS certification (preferred but not required).
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to stay calm and focused during high-stress, complex surgeries.
