Job Opportunity at Primrose School of Broken Arrow

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Education Professional to join our team at Primrose School of Broken Arrow. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our young students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Leadership: Oversee the daily operations of a group of children, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  • Child Development: Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis and provide individualized support to promote their growth and development.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with parents, colleagues, and school administrators to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and well-maintained classroom that encourages children to create, explore, and make decisions confidently.
Requirements:
  • Education: Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency, including a 2-year degree in early childhood or a related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
  • Experience: Previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program is preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of academic, social, emotional, physical, and creative needs of young children, as well as the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with handling children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
