Microtrenching Specialist

Sorensen Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Microtrenching Operator to join our construction team. As a key member of our operating unit, you will be responsible for performing physical labor, operating equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

• Perform physical labor, including digging and excavation work.
• Operate hand and power tools, including microtrenching equipment.
• Survey job sites to identify potential hazards and obstacles.
• Load and unload equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Backfill and compact trenches to ensure stability and safety.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.

• 5-7 years of experience operating microtrenching equipment, including the RT-80, Zahn, SK1550 w/MT122, and SK1550 Core Machine.
• Experience digging around utilities is required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• DOT Medical card required for company vehicle operation.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
