PGS Worldwide is currently in search of a proficient Electromechanical Technician to contribute to key initiatives for a prominent player in the Aerospace sector. This role is designed as a contract-to-hire opportunity, allowing for a seamless transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Position Overview:
- Responsible for the assembly and disassembly of intricate subassemblies and systems, adhering to detailed specifications.
- Engages in mechanical assembly utilizing a variety of mechanical components and both standard and specialized tools.
- Possesses a solid understanding of basic hand and power tools essential for mechanical assembly tasks.
- Demonstrates fine motor skills to accurately position and manipulate small components, including the ability to tie intricate knots with lacing. Follows procedural documentation for mechanical assembly and minor repairs.
- Capable of lifting weights up to 30lbs independently and up to 70lbs with assistance. Must maintain the ability to stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) years of education from a High School or Trade School.
- Must be a US Citizen.
