Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

At Johns Hopkins Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Properly position and scan patients to ensure accurate diagnostic images.
  • Ensure patient safety during exams by following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Completion of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Prefer one year of experience in an imaging modality.
  • ARRT certification with current registration required.
  • CPR certification required within three months of employment.
  • Advanced ARRT MRI certification required within one year of employment.
