Job Overview

This entry-level medical assisting role offers the chance to gain valuable experience and contribute to a healthcare team that prioritizes whole-person well-being. As a Medical Assistant I, you will support the examination and treatment of patients, working under the guidance of a physician or nurse.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview patients, record vital signs, and update patient charts.
  • Assist in managing daily patient flow as needed.
  • Provide direct patient care, perform indirect patient care activities, and conduct laboratory tests under the supervision of a physician or nurse.
  • Maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.
  • Administer vaccines, medications (IM/SC/ID/Oral), EKGs, and assist with procedures/treatments under physician supervision.
  • Perform supervised lab work upon skill sign-off by a nurse or physician based on physician orders. Prepare instrumental equipment for sterilization.

**What You'll Need:

  • High school or technical school education is required.
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • A combination of education, training, and relevant experience demonstrating the ability to perform described duties.
  • Preferred: 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly EPIC, is highly preferred.

  • $45,000 - $55,000 per year (based on experience)
