About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced School Psychologist to join our team in a welcoming school district near Chesapeake City, MD. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support students' mental, emotional, and academic well-being in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough individual and group assessments to identify students' academic, social, and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement effective intervention plans in coordination with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and behavior management support to students.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute valuable insights on student progress and strategies.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology is required.
  • Valid Maryland certification or licensure as a School Psychologist is essential.
  • Experience working in a school setting is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
