Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) is required.
• Valid licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Work Schedule and Compensation:

• This role offers full-time or part-time schedules, Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with 10-hour shifts and every fourth weekend.
• Compensation ranges from $27 to $39 per hour based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

• The MRI Specialist is tasked with executing diagnostic imaging procedures in MRI. Responsibilities include evaluating patients for age and condition-specific care, selecting and conducting the appropriate examinations, and documenting all relevant actions promptly.
• Effective communication and collaboration with all healthcare team members are essential.
• The MRI Specialist performs assigned diagnostic radiographic procedures, adhering to hospital policies, as well as federal and state regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of professional practice.
• Fostering communication with diagnostic imaging team members and other departmental staff to cultivate an environment of teamwork and coordination that leads to optimal patient outcomes.
• Accurate documentation of all images, work requests, and associated patient records is required.
• Engagement in staff meetings, educational initiatives, committees, quality assurance/quality control activities, and mandatory training sessions.
