Security Installation Specialist

Job Summary

MSCCN is seeking a highly skilled Security Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, testing, and inspecting a wide range of access control and IP camera products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and test various access control and IP camera products and platforms.
  • Read and comprehend engineered drawings.
  • Have a basic understanding of door hardware installation.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork relating to job tickets.
  • Travel up to 100% of the time.
  • Maintain a safe working environment at all times.
  • Communicate project activity to the MSCCN project manager or appropriate manager in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe driving record and report any incidents or near misses to management immediately.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or state-recognized equivalent.
  • At least one to five years of security installation experience and network ability.
  • Knowledgeable of security equipment systems (i.e., intrusion detection, assessment, and access control).
  • Capable of installing and maintaining various alarms, access control, and assessment system devices.
  • Valid state driver license with a clean driving record for the last three years.
  • Ability to obtain and retain a U.S. Government Security Clearance preferred.
  • DCJS Certified or ability to obtain is required.
  • Prior troubleshooting experience.
  • Security industry certifications.
  • Knowledge of: Software House, Lenel, AMAG, Galaxy, Brivo, Bosch, Southwest Microwave, Genetec, and/or Onssi.
