Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents of SNFs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing deficits.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting.
