About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Leader to join our Dialysis team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leadership in our inpatient environment.

Job Description:

  • Provide safe and effective patient care as a Registered Nurse under supervision
  • Document and enter patient data before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Monitor patient status and modify treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare team members
  • Communicate with dialysis providers and hospital personnel to ensure continuity of patient care
  • Administer medications as prescribed and adhere to contractual agreements
  • Evaluate nephrology physician orders and update patient records accordingly
  • Participate in emergency response measures and maintain familiarity with Fresenius Medical Care and hospital policies
  • Delegate tasks to direct patient care staff and provide education on specialized care related to renal replacement therapies
  • Promote infection control, equipment safety, and environmental safety
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update patient care plans and participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities
  • Serve as a resource for healthcare teams and participate in staff training and orientation

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current state licensure
  • Current CPR BLS Certification and successful completion of CAP requirements
  • Minimum 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse (bonus but not required)
  • Hemodialysis and/or ICU experience (bonus but not required)
  • 6 months of nephrology experience required for independent work and on-call responsibilities
