About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership to a software development team comprised of developers, analysts, and testers.
  • Software Development: Develop, test, implement, and maintain complex code and configuration for our business and supporting applications utilizing the.NET toolset.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify potential solutions, including the cost/benefit of each option, and provide recommendations to the team.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Agile team members to mitigate technical impediments and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Share knowledge and expertise with junior staff and provide guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and document complex technology processes and methodologies, and lead the implementation of process improvements.
  • Security: Monitor security vulnerabilities, analyze outputs, recommend corrective actions, and ensure adequate security using tools like Sonar Cube.
  • Testing: Develop test scenarios and scripts to ensure comprehensive testing of business functionality using non-sensitive data.
  • On-Call Support: Participate in on-call rotation that provides technology support outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of seven years of experience working with ASP and.NET development, with at least two years in a team leader or supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Comprehensive experience in ASP.NET, C#, XML,.NET Core, and MS SQL technologies, as well as experience in using software development methodologies and secure coding practices.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies, including Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Containerization: Experience with containerization, including Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
  • Configuration Management: Experience with configuration management tools, including Puppet, Chef, and Ansible.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile methodologies, including Jira, Kanban, and Rally.
